Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the ZKP Member app ("the app") collects, how it is used, who can see it, and the choices you have. The app is provided by Rahul Patel ("we", "us") for members of a ZKP mandal (savings group). By using the app you agree to this policy.
1. Who the app is for
The app is for existing members of a ZKP mandal. Members are added by the group administrators, so there is no in-app sign-up. The app shows your own savings, loans and EMIs that are recorded by the group. It does not process payments and it does not lend money.
2. Information we collect

We do not collect your precise location, your contacts, your call history, or your messages. We do not use advertising identifiers.
3. How we use it
- To sign you in and show you your account, passbook and loans.
- To process your loan applications and account closure requests.
- To send notifications about your account and loan requests.
- To show your profile to other members of the group, as described below.
- To keep the app secure and working.
4. Who can see your information
We also use service providers who process data for us:
- Google Firebase for phone number sign-in (Authentication) and push notifications (Cloud Messaging).
- Our server host, where the group's records and profile photos are stored.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it for advertising. The app does not track you across other apps or websites and does not use third-party analytics.
5. Permissions the app asks for
- Camera: only to take a profile photo.
- Photo library: only to choose a profile photo.
- Notifications: to send account and loan request updates. You can turn them off in the app or in your phone settings.
- Phone calls: the call button opens your phone's dialer with the member's number. The app does not read your call history or contacts.
6. Language and appearance
Your language and light or dark setting are stored on your device only.
7. Storage, security and retention
The app talks to our servers over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. We keep your information for as long as you are a member of the group. After you close your account, we may keep records of savings and loans that the group needs for its accounts and for legal reasons. We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no system is completely secure.
8. Your choices, access and deletion
- Edit your profile in the app under Settings, Edit Profile.
- Turn notifications off under Settings, Notification.
- Close your account: in the app go to Settings, Account Close Request, enter a reason and submit. The group administrators will review it.
- Ask for a copy, a correction or deletion of your information by emailing rahulpatel23497@gmail.com from the address or number you use with the app. We reply within 30 days.
9. Children
The app is for adult members of the group. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. If the changes are important, we will tell you in the app.
